Q 1. Why should I go to Korea ?

Q 2. What treatment is the best in Korea?

Also, techniques for Cardiovascular and Spinal surgeries using a robot or a laparoscope are of outstanding quality and treatments are very effective. Q 3. How about fees?

There are different ranges by diseases. In serious cases, the cost is approximately two-thirds of a developed country, and in a mild case such as plastic surgery, skin and oriental medicine treatments, it is the same as Singapore and Thailand.

The Medical Dispute Mediation Committee , a institution belonging to the Ministry of Health and Welfare, can help to solve Medical disputes. It is a reliable institution since it is a government dispute regulatory guideline and it deals with an incident by following the Medical Dispute Act.

Q 5. How about the safety of Korean Medical institutions and securities ?

Now, Korea has 39 Medical institutions, certified by JCI, in 2013, and the medical facilities and skills of these are reliable to satisfy the strict standards for evaluations. The infrastructure and tourism in Korea is amazing and has various accommodations and traveling infrastructures as well as security that is very safe.

Q 6. How about languages?

Since each hospital has interpreters who speak target country languages fluently, there is no concern about communications.

Q 7. How about Korean Food?

Various Korean foods are prepared to serve and if you require special food ,such as Japanese food, low-salt diets and Islamist food, it will be provided by discussing with the medical institution.

Q 8. How about level of Korean hotels?

Korea has several types of hotels with great facilities, they can be chosen diversely by costs and requirements.

Q 9. Is it possible to use patients’ insurance?

It has possible parts of use. You should check with your private insurance company and inform us when you reserve.

Q10. How about traveling?

Q11. How about visa?

Q12. How long does the flight take?

It depends on your country. Exact flight times and airline information is provided when your flight is researched and booked.

Q13. I have already done MRI,CT in my country. DO I need reexaminations?

If you send the recent results of these documents it will be examined here and if a reexamination is required, it can be provided here.

Q14. Can there be differences between request fees and actual fees in Korea ?

The minimum to maximum range of fees are set by results of examinations and required diseases. Also differences of fees are incurred since additional examinations may be needed. Also, exchange rates change often, but you will be notified before examination. The difference may be minimal.

Q15. How about consultation and waiting time?

Each hospital has a separate section for international patients and they are run by a different reservation system from Korean patients, waiting time for international patients is minimized.
